As we can see there is a vast number of different species which differ in colour, size, reproduction, life span, vocalization, behaviour, food habits and so on. Usually there are dark bands on the back, sides, and tail. Amphibians spend at least part of their lives in water habitats such as flowing streams, seasonal pools, or other wetland types.

The Siberian Scutosaurus was an ancester to the Turtles. Then her amazingly dexterous hind flippers go to work hollowing out a small egg chamber below her tail and into which white, spongy, golf-ball-size spheres fall every few seconds. Their young, called TADPOLES, grow up in the water and come onto land only when they mature. Male anolis lizards inflate their dewlaps to impress females and intimidate rivals.
